The coloring book is consisting of original portrayals of constellations. These images (woodcuts) come from the work of Aratus of Soli (3rd century BC) published in 1488 in Venice. The bilingual narration present one of the many versions of the mythical stories of the creation of heavenly phenomena such as Orion, Andromeda or Heracles.
